Filter420 California Sales Associate
Who we Are:
Filter420 manufactures and sells a unique line of joint filters that remove tar and other hot particles from pre-roll joints. This makes for a smoother and healthier smoking experience. Our products have been featured by a variety of local Washington and California influencers, the company was a supporting sponsor at the 2017 DOPE awards, and the founder has made guest appearances on Purple Haze Radio, among others.
Our current sales model offers both direct-to-consumer (via our website) and distributed wholesale access to the product across the US. Our core team is small; comprised of about four sales reps (for the Cascade & Pacific Northwest Regions) and is backed up and managed by Seattle-based sales and marketing agency. Both teams function in unison in order to build product and brand awareness, educate consumers, and drive sales.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a new California sales team member. At present, this is a part-time position (working about 10 hours a week), but would make a great side hustle for someone who is already tied into the cannabis space and has previously established relationships with local dispensaries.
As a cannabis adjacent product, you will need to have an intimate knowledge of the cannabis climate, relevant laws, and consumer ecosystem in California, to qualify. As our expert in California, we will be looking to you to supply retailer feedback, help improve the product, and grow the the brand.
Obtaining new wholesale and retail leads through in-person, phone, and digital outreach to potential buyers.
Following through on incoming leads from website and social media channels, as provided by Sales Manager.
Helping clients place new orders, either directly through an iPad (or other similar device) or online at Filter420.com.
Checking in with existing clients regularly to ensure that any questions about the products have been answered and products are ideally placed to sell.
Ensuring that sales sheets are regularly updated with the status of potential leads, reorders, and their place in the overall sales cycle.
Communicating sales collateral requirements: This includes one pagers, promotional materials, setting up vendor days, etc.
Communicating wholesale and retail client customer requests for marketing collateral and support including product information, vendor days, and promotions, to the Sales Manager.
The “territory” is, for all intents and purposes, yours to grow. We’d love to find someone who is completely stoked on the product and can’t wait to widen our reach to all of California.
Starting pay is $1000 month stipend + commission and bonus structure.
Please contact us at the email below with a resume and a brief description of your experience in the cannabis market. We’re looking to hire quickly and will be conducting interviews over the next week.
