Cheri Amour has become recogized as rock legend “JIM MORRISON’S LAST KNOWN U.S. RESIDENCE.” Jim resided there with his longtime girlfriend, Pamela Courson, from 1968-1971 still maintaining the apartment when he went to Paris where he reportedly died of heart failure 4 months later while in the bathtub on July 3, 1971. This landmark building holds a cultural and historical significance to all Doors fans.
Many items for sale are antique 1932 original to the building and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Items are described as accurately as possible. All items have been catalogued as to the apartment and location they came from and are stated in the listing, unless stated otherwise in the event an item was not documented.
Items are being sold for their historical rock ‘n roll memorabilia value so unless stated otherwise buyer should presume they are in “non-working condition” as some items were replaced after becoming non-functional and other items were replaced in the process of upgrading/updating the property and may be functional.

The dirt was excavated in March 2004 to make way for a new patio & meditation Garden when it was opened up for tours for “The Doors” fans. Buy dirt that Jim may have walked or sat on, but definitely passed by and looked at! Locations are from the bldg’s front yard, and courtyard area directly below Jim’s apt.There is only a limited supply, so when it’s gone, it’s gone! Packaged in various containers: ziplock baggie, prescription bottles, and authentic cannabis containers. (Weights and contents vary.)
